SAN JOSE DEL CABO RESTAURANTS
Baan Thai - Located in the heart of San Jose del Cabo, this spot

Brisa R.V. Restaurant - This trailer park is home to tons of locals,
a wild community that is worth checking out. With an extensive
menu you have the choice of eating in the Palapa Restaurant, patio/pool
side, or at the Bikini Bar. Sit back and relax while listening
to live music Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday’s. Our favorite
is the all you can eat Mullege Pig roast, they roast the whole
pig right there by the pool and it is defiantly a mouth watering
experience.
Buzzards – located about 15 minutes from San Jose
in Laguna Hills one can enjoy the breath taking ocean views from
this traditional
palapa restaurant. These folks also own 4 bed and breakfast casitas
to rent if you need to get away from it all and decide to stay
the night.
El Chilar – this hidden little gem boasts traditional
Mexican culinary themes. This spot has a terrific rustic candlelit
atmosphere
offers a new menu every month!
El Dantes – with two locations
in San Jose (one in Costa Azul on the beach, the other in Chamizal
distict of San Jose del
Cabo) this is the spot to get ribs—the meat just falls off
the bones—yum yum. They serve other things too and offer
great atmospheres at both locations.
El Tulipan (The Tulip Tree) – located
in the heart of San Jose by the old tulip tree that towers over
the patio. This is
a little out-door place in the Chamisal neighborhood with a mesquite
grill, great food, and neighborhood prices. These folks serve a
west coast menu of a wide variety with terrific steaks, and seafood’s.
La
Panga – this restaurant boasts rave reviews from visitors
abroad and local diners. Committed to showing off their culinary
seafood skills. Enjoy the cold Oasis of their air-conditioned atmosphere,
a nice compliment to the tastefull décor and table settings.
These guys know their wines too—let them suggest which wine
to drink with your seafood entrée.
Mi Cocina – a must
go in the heart of San Jose. Enjoy the romantic and beautiful courtyard
setting. Featuring international
dishes with incredible choices. Great salads, appetizers, and entrees.
Passaparola – the
owner/chef is from Milan Italy and he draws a diverse crowd of
loyal customers into his air conditioned restaurant.

Pescadero
Seafood Market—El Mercado del Mar - located just
outside of San Jose del Cabo, this restaurant is very non touirty.
This Market is on the way into or out of Los Cabos from the airport,
it is the first or last spot to get your delicious seafood goodies.
Great fish and seafood specialties, many folks agree that these
guys specialize in the Margarita as well! This is one of our
top 10 picks.
Restaurant La Dolce - La Dolce is home to home made
breads, pastas,
pizzas, seafood, great salads, and they specialize in beef carpaccio
(not to mention their lasagna—one of our favorites). This
is one of our local top 10 picks!
Sardina Cantina - This is a
little Sports Bar and Grill, located near the Costa Azul (blue
waters) beach on the Corridor. This
is the “cheers” of the corridor a lively little spot
bustling with loyal locals and sports fans from neighboring resorts.

steaks, the prime rib, the Dick’s Pick burger, the Philly
cheese steak, the spaghetti del Mar, boy we could just go on
and on!
Shooters – located on the second level of
a building in downtown San Jose, this is a fun sportsbar to hang
out at.
This is a fun
local spot, owned by some Canadians that opened this fun spot
with the promise of “cheap drinks & good eats.” Sounds
about right to us!
The Hangman - located in the outskirts in the
Chamizal distict of San Jose del Cabo. This spot is very inexpensive
and it offers
unusual yet absolutely terrific tacos! Can we interest you in
the Cantonese Rib, beef tongue (a local favorite), chicken, pork—no
problema! These guys don’t bother serving beer or spirits
so if you are interested, just bring your own.
The Rusty Putter – this
is a sportsbar & restaurant within
a grand Palapa. They offer top quality food and a fun ambiance.
Be sure to check out the Sushi Bar as well for some of Bajas
fresh seafood!
Velas Restaurant & Cocktails – oceanfront
dining in a huge traditional Palapa. This spot has a relaxing
atmosphere and
they serve an imaginative Mexican cuisine and great seafood specialties.
Zipper’s – located
right on the beach in the Costa Azul (blue water’s) area.
Watch one of the 6 tv’s or
the surfers rip it up as they play on some of Los Cabos favorite
surf waves. Enjoy large proportions off of the mesquite grill.
